I recently followed a add I got on for an app I thought I would really enjoy and seemed really promising. It’s similar Mercari except it’s all nice quality name brand items I was really excited to download and start shopping on the app but I have tried to buy three things on the app that have fallen through. I purchased two things that never shipped and then were canceled due to inactivity on the sellers end no big deal for the most part things happen but for it to happen twice back to back seemed odd, I then bid on a lot (really cool idea and I was really excited) but 30 seconds before the auction was up the item was inactive I thought it had maybe sold to someone else but it just said removed by seller. I think this app might be fake ? Like I’m sure there are some things that are real on it but it feels a lot of the stuff on the app is there just to get traffic. I wouldn’t suggest anyone download or use this app I say stick with depop/poshmark and Facebook marketplace

Upon receiving a defected item I asked for a refund and was instructed that I will NOT be receiving a refund and was told to RE-SELL this defected item. There was no mentioning of a defect in the photos or description of the item. Worst Customer Service ever.

Android app doesn't work the best. I don't like how you can't block someone on your own, you have to reach out to Curtsy to do it for you. If you don't respond to every message or keep checking on your closet they expire your closet which makes no sense and shouldn't happen. Some agents are friendly, others aren't and I don't deal with rude people. Don't like how if you delete a account you can't make a new one, you have to restore that one. Won't be using Curtsy anymore unless they make some changes. The only 2 things I like is rating I believe is optional, and you get paid once carrier scans package.

This app is wonderful!! Low seller fees & great customer support. Shipping times are reasonable and I love that you can message the seller directly. Try my Code CRYSTALS143 to get $10 off your 1st order of $20 or more. It’s the best app on the AppStore.

Do not listen to the 1 star ratings. Curtsy take very good care of their customers. I’ve never had a terrible complaint. This app is amazing and every woman should absolutely give it a try!!

A scam!! stay far away. they removed my account and charged me almostr 300 and have my banking account info now I have to call the bank and hopefully get this sorted out

I bought a dress that was supposedly new with tags but it was NOT! There was no original tag… the seller just tied a tag around it with string. It was also unraveling in many places. The brand said it was outside the window to return it but it’s absurd as the dress wasn’t even as described.

Since opening my account, I have had NOTHING but spam e-mails. I'm talking about 30-60 per day minimum! BEWARE of this company. Also, placed an order on Feb 28th and It's currently March 3rd and the package has not shipped yet. Making a label doesn't absolve you from actually SHIPPING the item ordered.

I am a gay minority and they “banned “ my account because I seller cussed me out. All I did was block their account. Cursty stole from me, stole all my pictures, videos and never paid me.

Bought an item from Katherines Martinez closet! she send a fake tracking number, when i try to reach curtsy the team assured me it wasn’t fake and told me to give it some time, Hense 1 week later no tracking found by USPS , they protected the seller , finally after threats they refunded money!! Do not buy Here!!!

They will ban you if they think you MIGHT have duplicate accounts. I was banned and so were my two other friends because we made our accounts on the same device. All of us used different emails and phone numbers which enough is proof that we are NOT the same people. I had about $600 accumulated in my account that I had not redeemed. My friend had almost $200. They refused to lift the suspension and/or at the LEAST let us redeem our balance to our bank accounts. Curtsy, this can in fact start a lawsuit against your company. Every sale earns YOU guys money because of US sellers. To not only refuse to give us the money that we earned, but also make money off our sales while we lose our merchandise and profit is despicable. I will be taking this up with authorities because it is in fact scamming. Get it together like Mercari and Depop. Until you guys let me redeem my money, I will not have a good word to say about the app.

Don’t usually write bad reviews but I’m pissed. I made my first purchase which was an $85 jumpsuit and i bought it 12/10/2022 and it is currently 12/17/2022 and it still didn’t ship out. So I messaged the seller asking what was up with that and I said I hoped it wasn’t a scam and that I was confused because the label was shipped out the day after I bought it. And just for being skeptical she had so much attitude with me and blocked me, didn’t even give me the chance to say anything else. She refused to cancel the order and said it’s “in curtsy’s hands now”. I contacted curtsy to cancel the order and they said they can’t refund my money until 12/23/2022!! A whole other week!! Super ridiculous especially since I paid a $5 protection fee. I paid money and didn’t get my item so I should get my money back!! Was gunna use the return money for Christmas gifts but It’ll be too late. Probably will never use this app again

A 20% cut is too much... considering they make money off of the prepaid shipping labels already. I make more by using Poshmark or Mercari. I've also tried using Vinted, but their customer support sucks and they need to tweak their business management skills on generated labels. it takes 1-5 days to get one which is annoying.

Curtsy is honestly pathetic. Their fees are ridiculous & they love to ban peoples accounts for no reason . For instance said I was selling something counterfeit but they have no proof that it is (which it’s not it’s a pair of adidas shoes )also saying previous listings that I BOUGHT FROM THE SITE AND RELISTED & they said they’re not able to verify with their team they’re authentic and avoid getting back to me .. an app full of uneducated people
